TASTING NOTES:

Restrained aromas of green asparagus, subtle elderflower and herbal aromas with a gorgeous vibrant acidity. Delicate but pure, with a steely, stony minerality, and a lingering, elegant finish.

Vineyard location
Gradil, Mafra; uneven terrain, the grapes are grown in two vineyards on the lower slopes in deep and fresh soils. One vineyard uses vine trellising of the half Smart-Dyson system with an exposition east/west. The other vineyard uses VSP trellis with a north/south exposure.

Smooth pressing of whole bunches by pneumatic press to extract the best must, which is allowed to settle for one day at 7°C to decant the best juice. 20% fermented in French oak barrel with lees stirring, the remainder fermented in steel vats at low temperature (12/14°C)..
