100% in French oak casks during 12 months. Followed by aging in bottle for 8 years
Deep and intense on both the nose and palate, but still boasts a healthy vibrancy for a 10 year-old wine. Aside from the expected dried forest fruits and plums, the aromas and flavours nod to something more savoury; beef stock, sundried tomatoes, iron and rust. Hefty, but now softened tannins and good acidity ensure this wine is a solid choice for pairing with more intense dishes. Bell pepper and earthy pine forests. Balanced integrated oak and tannins, with a backbone of acidity that keeps this wine lifted and promises to do so for a long while.
